Course Description
The Bachelor of Engineering allows students to work in both established and newly emerging areas of engineering. Students develop their understanding by applying basic science and engineering principles to engineering problems of commercial importance. In addition to technical expertise, the program emphasises essential workplace skills such as communication, teamwork, project management, problem-solving and lifelong learning. The Bachelor of Business Management is designed for students who aspire to be business leaders and managers of the future. Graduates are equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills and self-confidence to assist in effective and successful management, within constantly changing and highly competitive national and international business environments.

Structure
88 units: 36 units from Business Management and 52 units from Engineering. Industry work experience: All engineering students are required to complete 60 days engineering professional practice prior to graduation.

Year 12 or equivalent English, Mathematics B; plus one of Chemistry or Physics, however both are recommended. Entry must be gained in the program with the higher OP/rank cut-off
Study Pathways
Students may proceed to coursework higher degrees. Students completing a degree with honours may proceed to the MPhil or PhD in the relevant field.
Comments
First Aid Certificate: Students are required to hand in a valid Senior First Aid Certificate. The BE/BBusMgt dual program is not available to student undertaking a double major in the BE component.
