Course Description
This qualification is part of the Sport, Fitness and Recreation Training Package. It provides the skills and knowledge for an individual intending to pursue a career in sport development.

Study Pathways
Completion of the Diploma of Sport Development provides credit transfer into University of Canberra, Bachelor of Sports Science. Students completing the Diploma of Sport (Development) will also meet the requirements for the Diploma of Sport and Recreation.

It is recommended that you gain a Level 1 coaching accreditation from the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme or from the National Strength and Conditioning Association either before or while completing this program.
