Course Description
The Commerce degree at Murdoch enables students to complete one or more majors in the areas of Accounting, Banking, Business Law, Chinese Business, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Finance, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Human Resource Management, Management, and Marketing Management. A well-rounded, comprehensive education for business is the objective of this degree. Students can complete with a single major or double major in the Bachelor of Commerce degree in the minimum of 3 years in most majors.

Structure
Units are business, economics, and politics depending on the major chosen. Students can opt to complete a second major or a minor as part of their studies. All majors are available wholly at the Murdoch campus. Some units in Commerce can be completed at both Rockingham and Peel campuses.

An Honours year is available to suitable applicants.
Comments
The major in Chinese Business includes an optional 6-month intensive semester in China. Additional units are offered within Accounting to meet the requirements for professional accreditation through CPA Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Some units in these courses may be available externally.
