Course Description
The aim of this course is to develop basic skills and technical knowledge in general plumbing. It includes modules in plumbing, mechanical services, sheet metal fabrication practices, water supply, roof and cladding and work experience. The course also includes on-the-job training within the plumbing industry, and off-the-job requirements for pre-apprenticeship students in plumbing. The units are common to stages one and two of the trade program for plumbers, gasfitters and drainers.
