Course Description
This qualification is from the Automotive Training Package. Students will learn how to service and repair motor vehicle steering and suspension systems.
Subjects you can Study
Core: Apply basic automotive troubleshooting processes; Apply safe working practices; Apply environmental regulations and best practice in a workplace or business; Test, service and charge batteries; Inspect and service steering systems; Inspect and service suspension systems; Balance wheels and tyres; Use and maintain measuring equipment. Electives: Establish relationships with customers; Communicate effectively in the workplace; Carry out repairs to single electrical circuits; Carry out servicing operations; Select and use bearings, seals, gaskets, sealants and adhesives; Inspect and service braking systems; Inspect steering systems; Carry out wheel alignment operations; Remove, fit and inspect wheel assemblies.
