Course Description
This double degree program prepares graduates to meet current requirements for a nursing career and also provides the skills to deal with situations where a knowledge of human behaviour would be an advantage, e.g. in a counselling environment. On completion of this program, students have the option to apply for a fourth year program in psychology, in order to gain provisional registration as a psychologist.

Student nurses must undergo a criminal history check and be issued with a Suitability Card (Blue Card) prior to undertaking field experience. QUT offers a range of scholarships that provide real support for commencing and continuing students.
