The Bachelor of Creative Arts (Digital Media) explores the connections between technology and the creative arts and the ways in which digital media is used in society and the workplace. Upon completion of their degree, students will have gained specific practical and analytical skills in creative work in digital media. In addition, students will have developed a range of transferable skills including: communication and presentation skills; teamwork and interpersonal skills; management and planning skills.

The course combines studies in IT, multi-media design and culture, with a strong emphasis on working in creative teams. Students gain basic professional skills in digital media production, including the operation of software and hardware, as well as the ability to plan, develop and complete a digital media product, including production and post-production stages.

Multimedia developers generate and manipulate graphic images, animations, sound, text and video into consolidated and seamless multimedia programs.
Multimedia applications include computer-based interactive training, data presentation and information kiosks, CD-ROMs, entertainment and educational products, and multimedia presentations.
