The Master of Nurse Practitioner is an academic program designed to provide opportunities for registered nurses to expand their skills and extend their scope of practice to prepare them for roles as nurse practitioners. In addition, students will develop advanced skills in clinical inquiry, practice and leadership in professional nursing. This program will provide graduates with a rigorous grounding in research methods, extended clinical practice skills, advanced health assessment, applied pharmacology, diagnostics, critical analysis, clinical management and leadership.
Nurse practitioner
Students complete 4 core courses in Nursing and may choose to undertake a full-time or part-time research dissertation option or a coursework option of 3 courses.
