Course Description
This qualification is part of the Furnishing Training Package. It describes the skills and knowledge required by those working in a production environment in the manufacture of free-standing furniture or built-in cabinets, and those providing on-site assistance in the installation of furniture or cabinets. This qualification applies to non-trade work involved in the manufacture of furniture or fitted cabinets such as those used in kitchens and bathrooms. It also includes skills that cover assisting in the installation or renovation of kitchens and bathrooms and other fitted cabinets.
