This qualification is part of the Financial Services Training Package. It is designed for individuals who work in large organisations specialising in workers compensation insurance or for small business agents. It assists students with further developing their dispute resolution and return to work planning skills.
Core: Work within the workers compensation industry sector; Maintain customer relationships; Resolve disputes; Analyse insurance claims. Sectoral units: Plan and implement rehabilitation and return to work strategies; present workers compensation agent/insurer at conciliation and review hearings; Educate clients on workers compensation issues; Assist injured workers with job placement; Evaluate risk for new business; Underwrite new business; Settle policy payments and terminations; plus more and electives.
