Course Description
This course aims to produce informed, reflective, caring, and compassionate nurses who demonstrate competencies related to professional responsibility, interpersonal processes and the exercise of clinical judgment. Graduates are capable of delivering a high standard of safe and therapeutic nursing care in a variety of contexts. They demonstrate nursing care that is informed, responsible and respectful. In addition, graduates at degree level are prepared to foster the development of nursing as a practice discipline and a significant health profession within the community.

Applicants who have previously undertaken a course of study, at a university or other recognised tertiary education institution, may be eligible for exemption if subjects previously studied are deemed by the Faculty to be equivalent to those specified for their course. Accelerated Program - Graduate Entry: Kuring-gai campus, full-time 2 years or part-time 4 years including a pre-semester school in February at commencement and Summer session. Accelerated Program - Enrolled Nurse: Kuring-gai campus, full-time 2 years or part-time 4 years including Summer session.
