Course Description
Marketing is about exchanges and the satisfaction of needs - whether ideas, goods or services - for individuals and organisations. Students develop an understanding of the marketing concept and the processes of planning, pricing, promotion, and distribution that create these exchanges. Studies in Marketing relate to important organisational functions such as advertising, market planning, public relations, sales and general management. The strategic role of marketing within organisations, and international aspects of the marketing concept are primary focuses of this specialisation.

Structure
Students undertake a number of core topics and complete 36 units (8 topics) for the Marketing specialisation. There is scope to choose topics from other named specialisations offered in Business (Business Economics, Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, International Business or Management), or 36 units of elective topics from other areas of the University.

Students have the option of combining this degree with one of the following Bachelor degrees, providing they meet the entry requirements for both: Commerce (Accounting), Commerce (Finance), Commerce (Sustainability), Laws and Legal Practice, Laws and Legal Practice (Honours), Arts, Environmental Management, Government and Public Management, International Studies, International Tourism, and Business and Technology.
