Course Description
This Training Program is made up of units from the Tourism, Hospitality and Events Training Package. It will provide ACT school canteen managers with the skills to develop and update their knowledge and awareness about occupational health, safety and hygiene in a kitchen, special dietary and cultural needs, basic menu planning and nutrition.
Subjects you can Study
Follow health, safety and security procedures for the kitchen; Clean and maintain kitchen premises; Receive and store kitchen supplies; Follow workplace hygiene procedures in the kitchen; Food production for canteens; Present food; Preparing sandwiches.
